Ever since Greg Sterner was in high school, he knew he wanted to help people get fit, strong and stay that way. Greg decided to pursue his passion and graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. For the past ten years he has been helping people get in the best shape of their lives as a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN). In addition, Greg has also been helping people overcome injuries and obstacles to fitness as a Physical Therapist, with his elite certification as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a title only a small percentage of the country hold, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Greg was eager to take his knowledge and experience helping people one step further, and has recently opened Fitness Together, a one-on-one private personal training studio in the heart of Point Loma at Liberty Station. Fitness Together specializes in one-on-one workouts with your personal trainer in a private training suite, where clients can work on individual goals and where trainers are sensitive to special conditions, such as injuries. In addition to changing the lives of his clients, Greg has volunteered and spoken to senior groups on such topics as arthritis and physical training. He has also co-presented seminars in La Jolla and Aspen, CO on sports performance training for athletes in all realms of sports.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland Sara is a graduate from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is a ACE Certified Personal Trainer who has been working in the fitness industry for six years now. Her interest in health and fitness started at the age of two when she began taking gymnastics lessons which eventually led her to compete at a national level. Sara was recognized and ranked at the state level throughout her high school track and field career. Sara is extremely passionate about exercise and is dedicated to motivate and challenge clients to achieve their personal goals. With her positive attitude towards fitness and life in general, Sara believes a challenging program will ultimately lead to a better, more energized way of life. When Sara is not educating and influencing clients how to benefit from a healthier lifestyle, she enjoys cooking, watching football and any other outdoor activities. In October 2009 Sara took 2nd place in the Border States Figure Competition,while in the Fitness Bikini section.It was Sara’s first figure contest ever and she trained and dieted diligently to make the grade. Sara knows firsthand how to train and eat like a champion.

Through his experience training people of all ages, Dustin understands what it takes to encourage, progress, achieve, and surpass goals in fitness. Dustin earned his Athletic Training degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2008 where he provided 3 years of strength training, conditioning, rehab and comprehensive healthcare for all collegiate athletes of 14 teams. Dustin was also the Strength & Conditioning Coach in 2005 for the High-A Minor League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball Organization. In addition to personal training, Dustin is working toward graduate school and plans to become a Physician Assistant. He is involved musically as a Professional Singer as over the past 15 years, and has performed throughout the western US in various productions. Dustin also enjoys cycling and the great outdoors. At Fitness Together Point Loma, Dustin is committed to using his unique experience in helping you commit to and accomplish your individual fitness goals.
